Welcome to First Trinity!
We’re an urban and multi-cultural Lutheran congregation, located on the east side of Indianapolis. Founded in 1868 by immigrants, we were the first Danish Lutheran church in the United States. Of course, so much has changed over the years. But, some things will never change - our commitment to sharing the Good News of Jesus that changes lives, and our faithful advocacy for the liberation and common good of all people.
Please join us for Worship! Sundays at 10:45am.
Each Sunday morning, we celebrate with liturgical worship and Holy Communion, both in-person and live-streamed via YouTube. Visitors are always welcome, especially at Jesus’ table. So, we promise that there’s always a place for you here - whether in-person or virtual! Just click to the right to get started.
Please note - for Covid safety, we strongly encourage masks and social distancing. Thank you for helping us to care for our neighbors!
